Inner values All types of rice are healthy, especially wild rice. With 15 g protein in 100 g uncooked rice, wild rice contains almost twice as much protein as white or brown rice – with little difference in the calorie content. Like traditional rice, wild rice contains very little fat and has plenty of carbohydrate, dietary fibre, B vitamins and minerals. Wild rice also contains very little sodium.
